what is the H.T.M.S. Husky Foundation?
The H.T.M.S. Husky Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit volunteer organization whose mission is to provide funding for needed programs and facilities which enhance the educational experience at Hightower Trail Middle School.

What is the suggested Annual donation?
The requested donation is $125 per student; however any amount will directly benefit HTMS students and is greatly appreciated.
How can i get involved?
Is my donation tax deductible?
YES! The HTMS Husky Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit volunteer organization. The HTMS Husky Foundation accepts individual donations, employee matching grants, and corporate donations.
I think my company will match my donation. What’s the process?
Many employers will match eligible contributions made by their employees, spouses, widow(ers) or retirees. Your donation to the HTMS Husky Foundation could be doubled! Requesting a matching gift is normally a simple process, initiated by the donor. You can do this by filling out and submitting a match form provided by your employer. Every program is different, so please contact your company’s HR for assistance.
When will I get my car magnet?
As an incentive, we provide a limited edition car magnet to those who donate. If you bring your donation to the HTMS Husky Foundation table at Sneak-a-Peek or Open House, you will receive your magnet immediately. If you send your donation or pledge in to the school, we will send the car magnet home with your student as soon as possible. Please allow more time during the Annual Campaign.
Can I pay with an installment plan?
YES! Please contact our treasurer to work out an installment plan.
Will I receive a receipt?
All donations will receive a donation confirmation via email (please allow extra time during the first month of school). Be
sure to clearly print you’re e-mail address on the donation form. Donations above $125 will also receive a tax receipt upon request.
Can a family member make a donation to the HHF?
YES! A family member (grandparents, aunts, uncles, etc.) can make a donation to the HTMS Husky Foundation. We welcome all donations!
Who decides how the money is spent?
The HTMS Husky Foundation seeks input from administrators, teachers and parents to determine the best way to allocate the funds available.
How can I make my donation?
- Pay online.
- Pay by credit card at Sneak-a-Peek or Open House.
- Print the donation form from the website, and send to school with a check made payable to HTMS Husky Foundation.
Is there any benefit to donating during the Annual Campaign (Beginning of School year)?
YES! Donations are accepted throughout the year. However, we plan our purchases based on the funds raised during the campaign. We strive to spend the money raised in the year in which it was donated, for carefully vetted needs which fit the mission.
Is the HTMS Husky Foundation different from the PTSA?
The PTSA and the HTMS Husky Foundation each have distinct and essential roles and operate under specific parameters to improve the quality of our students’ education. By working together, we are able to support teachers and administrators, and provide up-to-date technology & supplies. By supporting these two wonderful organizations, you are making an important difference in our school.
